Welcome to Our
Paul and Susan Hamilton and family were members of the Central Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio when God called them to the mission field. They began their ministry as Independent Baptist Missionaries in the Republic of Moldova in 1997, and have been faithfully serving the Lord and preaching the King James Bible there for the last 14 years.
During the time they have served in Moldova, they have started four churches: a Bible Institute, a printing ministry, the Purified Word Printing International, and established Anchor of Hope Orphan and Family Foundation.
After getting saved by the grace of God, I was called to preach in 1990. My desire was to be a missionary to start churches in Soviet Russia. Through the old fashioned preaching of the Word of God, the Lord touched my heart for full-time foreign missions. I surrendered to the call to the Republic of Moldova in 1995. Susan and I made a trip there in the same year. When we arrived, people were tearing pages out of the Word of God and passing them around the town just so they could read the Bible. The Lord gave me the burden after he called me to get a Bible in each person's hand in that region. After returning from the mission, our family began deputation for nine months. In 1997 our family returned to the field of harvest.
We have three goals as we minister to the people of Moldova: preach the Word of God, win the lost, and establish churches. As we have been here on the mission field, God has given me a burden through prayer to help train Pastors and missionaries in the Word of God, and to teach them the value of prayer and walking with God. We have also been burdened for orphan children and have a desire to "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6.
We have already taken in two orphaned young men, and we have plans to take in another two this summer. The Lord gave us 29 acres of property on which we have plans to build 20 orphan homes. Christian families will live with the orphan children to train them up in the Word of God. It is our desire through our printing ministry to print the King James Bible in the Romanian and Russian languages. It is our vision to get a Bible in every home in Moldova. Our hearts desire, above all else, is to glorify God in all the ministries He has given us the privilege of watching grow here. We are thankful to Him for His marvelous grace and love towards us.
