Meeting The Need

Moldova is in a desperate situation. According to a Moldova census, there are 14,000 children in this country who don't have parents. We work with three state-run orphanages serving a total of 1,400 orphans. We supply these children with basic necessities such as food, clothing, and educational needs. Our main thrust is to win them to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our future plan is the Anchor of Hope House Project. Last year we were given 29 acres of land with the purpose of building individual houses where Moldovan Christian families would care for orphan children. We would like to teach these children how to work. Orphans along with their families would farm the land, raise livestock, and care for the orchard. Our goal is for the orphanage to be self-sustaining.

Future plans are to build a two-story vocational building where we could teach the girls to sew and to be Godly mothers. The boys would be taught to make furniture. During their time there, they would be raised up in a Bible-based education. When the orphans turn 18 years old, we would like to be able to give them a Bible school education by sending them through our Bible Institute.

Please pray with us - we believe that God has His hand on this ministry. We see a great need: if we don't reach these orphans while they are young, we find that we meet many of them in the Moldovan prison system.
